H.R.H Prince Philip was President of the British Squash Rackets Association

In 1965 H.R.H Prince Philip became President (later, Patron) of what was then the British Squash Rackets Association. He was a keen player himself on the court at Buckingham Palace, and here are some photos of his meeting top players and national teams.

Prince Philip meets the teams at the World Amateur Championships 1976. Pakistan, the runners up, L to R Mohammed Saleem, Abdul Rehman, Omar Draz (manager), Prince Philip, Atlas Khan, Maqsood Ahmed.





At the English SRA Golden Jubilee Dinner in 1978 at the RAC Club in London, before speaking to mark the occasion, Prince Philip was introduced to British players.

In 1991 at Wembley Conference Centre to present the British Open trophies to Lisa Opie (ENG) and Jahangir Khan (PAK).
