Pegged Ranking Introduced
In 2003 WISPA (the then separate women’s tour) introduced Pegged Ranking, a means of players who had suffered a long-term injury or other medical condition, including pregnancy, keeping most of their final ranking points before the 6 – 18 months they were sidelined.
